Flying sprint speed
The main goal of this test is to measure the subject’s maximum velocity achieved in a flying sprint over an established distance.
- Required Material: A flat non-slip surface, 4 cones to delimit the test course, a tape measure and a stopwatch.
- Procedure: The subject must cover the distance (B-C) in the shortest possible time. He/she must start the test with his/her foot behind the starting cone (A) in a sprint start position and will use the distance A-B as an acceleration zone and once the subject reaches cone B the stopwatch will be started. The test will finish when the subject crosses the finish line (C) with any part of his/her body, the stopwatch will be stopped and the time elapsed will be recorded.
- Assessment: It is measured in seconds (sec) and the subject has a maximum of 3 attempts. In Fisicalcoach, the lowest time, as well as the mean and the median can be recorded.
