Stationary start sprint
The main goal of this test is to measure the subject’s acceleration capacity and maximum velocity achieved in a specific speed test.
- Required Material: A flat non-slip surface, 4 cones to delimit the test course, a tape measure and a stopwatch. If the test requires it, starting blocks can be used to help the participant in the acceleration phase of the race.
- Procedure: The subject must run the established distance in the shortest time possible.
- Assessment: It is measured in seconds (sec) and the subject has a maximum of 3 attempts. In Fisicalcoach, the lowest time, as well as the mean and the median can be recorded.
